JAM Future Leaders Scholarship

The Jamaican Association of Manitoba is proud to support students pursuing post-secondary education while strengthening leadership and community engagement.

 

Scholarship Details

• Five scholarships valued at $1,000 each

• Open to all fields of study

• One-time award

• Includes a 20-hour volunteer commitment with JAM

 

 

Eligibility

 

Applicants must:

 

• Be a JAM member in good standing

• Be of Jamaican heritage or demonstrate strong ties to the Jamaican community

• Be accepted to or currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution

• Submit a complete application package

 

 

Requirements

 

• Application form

• Essay (500 words)

• Reference

• Proof of enrollment

 

 

Volunteer Commitment

 

Recipients must complete:

 

• 20 volunteer hours within 12 months
