Scholarship Details

Five scholarships valued at $1,000 each
Open to all fields of study
One-time award
Includes a 20-hour volunteer commitment with JAM

Be a JAM member in good standing
Be of Jamaican heritage or demonstrate strong ties to the Jamaican community
Be accepted to or currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution
Submit a complete application package

Note: Applicants must be members in good standing of the Jamaican Association of Manitoba (JAM) to be eligible for scholarship consideration. If you are not currently a member, you may complete a JAM membership application before submitting your scholarship application.

I understand that recipients of the JAM Future Leaders Scholarship are required to complete 20 volunteer hours with JAM, including a minimum of 10 hours within the first 6 months and full completion within 12 months.

I understand that failure to meet scholarship requirements may affect future eligibility for JAM opportunities and may result in further action as outlined in the scholarship policy.

I authorize JAM to verify information submitted as part of this application, including educational enrollment and membership status where necessary.

I consent to JAM collecting, storing, and using my information solely for the administration and evaluation of the scholarship program.

If selected, I consent to JAM using my name, photograph, and scholarship-related information for recognition, promotional, and communication purposes.
